Pain Management (Chronic/Acute)

Clinical studies have shown that clinical hypnotherapy can be very effective in reducing and/or eliminating physical pain.

Typical painful conditions that I help clients manage using hypnotherapy include migraine, headaches, joint pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, back pain, pain from IBS, musculoskeletal pains, fibromyalgia, post surgery, chronic illness, injury and more 

Since hypnotherapy can put you in a highly relaxed state, it can help to reduce stress levels and break the stress and pain cycle. Muscle tension can be eased and stiffness reduced. If hypnotherapy is engaged in regularly, this reduction in stress can markedly improve  pain symptoms.

I have many different techniques that I utilise with my clients to understand their pain and alleviate symptoms.

 I teach my clients techniques for pain management they can use themselves, so they will always have resources available and take back control of their pain management and recovery.

There are many different ways that emotions play out as pain. Hypnotherapy and NLP can stop this cycle and ease your thinking and feelings. Hypnotherapy also assists in managing the emotional component, whether it’s fear about our current or future ability to manage the pain that is making the pain worse, an old trauma that manifests in a physical form, or anger/frustration/sadness about the presence of pain in your life.
