Question: Will I know and remember what has happened?

Answer: In hypnosis you will not become unconscious. You'll be able to hear my voice, and the sounds around you. You'll be able to speak, and you'll always be able to bring yourself out of hypnosis if you want to. You'll be able to remember our session.

Myth: The hypnotherapist has some mystical power over the client.

Truth: I cannot ask you or make you do anything you don't want to. You are always in control.

Myth: You can become unconscious during hypnosis

Truth: Your conscious mind is always present. Individual's senses are generally enhanced during hypnosis (hyper acuity), in many cases more that if they were in a fully awakened state. Individuals hear and are aware of everything going on around them, their ability to focus is so enhanced that they choose to focus on the experience.

Myth: You can get stuck in hypnosis.

Truth: No one can get "stuck" in hypnosis. You go to sleep every night and wake up every morning without consciously being aware of exactly how you do it. So, in the same way the body naturally knows how to come out of this deeply relaxed state of hypnosis with ease and grace. As your hypnotherapist I will always bring you out of hypnosis.

Myth: The strong minded are not easily hypnotized.

Truth: In fact, just the opposite is true. Hypnosis is the amazing ability to utilize the power of your mind.

Myth: Hypnosis is a truth serum.

Truth: When in hypnosis the conscious mind is always present - you decide what you want to say.Â
